The Minister for Indigenous Health, Warren Snowdon, launched this report, ‘People I Can Call On’, which will give healthcare providers an insight into the challenges facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living with chronic illness. Mr Snowdon said the report was funded by the Australian Government and conducted by the Menzies Centre for Health Policy, a joint initiative of the ANU and the University of Sydney and is based on interviews with Indigenous people with chronic illnesses and their carers.
